Art by Heart is a Visual Arts Ministry "passionately welcoming and serving Creation with Christ's Love" at Resurrection Lutheran Church in Tucson, Arizona.  Its mission is to share the love and joy in creating beautiful visual art for the church and community.  Art by Heart's vision is to continue meeting the needs of existing church ministries and reach out to the community.

     Art by Heart's first project is a beautification effort in RLC's recently completed Prayer/Meditation Path.  The path is designed to be a place of peace- a place of worship for anyone to visit.  A plan for 6 mosaic tile murals has been approved. The series is addresses the five interrogatives: who, what, where, when and why. Along the way, the Alpha/Omega was added as a 6th design element.  The first mural is completed and is inspired by "Luther's Rose".  It indicates who we are as Lutherans. 

   Beginning January 2010 Art by Heart started Ceramics classes for beginners and returning ceramicists.  The ministry now has an ongoing Ceramics group serving the church community with gifts to welcome guests and new members.

   Art by Heart welcomes all faiths and denominations to participate with the emphasis of Christ's presence in all we see and do.  Won't you join us?
